Pecan Pie Cake
CAKE:
- 1 box Butter Pecan cake mix (reserve 3/4 C. for filling)
- 1 egg
- 1 stick butter, softened
Beat egg, add butter and cake mix. Press into greased and floured 9×12-inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
FILLING:
- 1/2 C. brown sugar
- 1/2 C. corn syrup
- reserved cake mix
- 3 beaten eggs
- 2 C. chopped pecans
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Mix ingredients together. Pour over top of cake. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool and cut into 2-inch squares..
